My foundation degree is coming to an end! The 2 years i've been at newcastle college have flown over! I've progressed as a designer but also met some inspiring people, had some great oppurtunities and made some wonderful friends!

 

For the last few weeks with none stop prep more so for the few in the class given the job of branding up the show and trying to get the name out there. We settled with the name 'LOOK' for the show as is quite fitting. The graphics were branded onto flyers, notice boards, floor graphics, newspaper, tote bags and more and made the whole night seem very professional.

With all this done we then had to paint out boards to fit the black and white theme, making our work look crisp and professional. Mounted out work, thought about board layouts, personal branding, portfolio and all of these things to help out board stand out from the rest and appeal to possible employers. 

This is my final board i was advised to go with 2 different projects although i wanted to show continuity and a theme but as my lecture knows what the industry wants to see i took his advise on board, i went with a clean crisp editorial showing my screen design skills, and a more hand rendered, illustation peice which also includes photography and photo editing. I believe they show a few skill sets and my portfolio was also presented there to show any others skills i have aquired.
